End of assembly of the British Airways i360 panoramic platform on the Brighton site

Teams on site needed 8 weeks to lift the 24 upper sections and 24 lower sections of the platform which had been pre-assembled for a trial on the SIGMA site this summer.

The platform can hold 200 passengers during the 20-minute trip including 5 minutes and 20 seconds of time spent rising to the top of the tower.
The British Airways i360 was recently added to the Guinness Book of World Records as the most slender tower in the world: 160 metres high with a diameter of 4 metres
